Unlike conventional Hall-effect sensors triggered by ferrous steel targets, the LDM-MAG-HALL sensor is specifically designed to detect magnets. Its wide detection range, high switching frequency and normally open output make it suitable for accurately monitoring crankshaft speed and position in high-RPM race applications.

The sensor features a durable 3/4"-16 threaded, nickel-plated body with a flush-mount sensing face. A built-in LED provides immediate visual confirmation during installation and setup, making it easier to correctly position the sensor relative to the magnetic trigger.

With an IP67-rated housing, integrated short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection and a broad 10–30V DC operating range, the LDM crankshaft sensor is built to perform reliably in harsh motorsport environments.
