Lowdoller Motorsports 2 Bar MAP Sensor – -14.7 PSI to +14.7 PSI
Part Number: 899002
Accurately monitor manifold pressure, vacuum or crankcase pressure with the Lowdoller Motorsports 2 Bar MAP Sensor, designed for naturally aspirated, nitrous-assisted and motorsport data-acquisition applications.
With a measurement range from -14.7 PSI to +14.7 PSI, this sensor is ideal for combinations that require accurate vacuum and low-boost pressure data rather than the extended range of a conventional high-boost MAP sensor. It is also particularly useful for monitoring crankcase pressure and vacuum on engines fitted with vacuum-pump or pan-vac systems.
The sensor provides a standard 0.5V to 4.5V analogue output, making it compatible with a wide range of EFI systems, digital dashes and data loggers. Its heavy-duty stainless-steel body and 1/8" NPT thread provide a durable and straightforward installation in demanding race environments.

Ideal for Crankcase Pressure Monitoring
Crankcase pressure is an important but often overlooked data channel in a performance engine.
Monitoring crankcase pressure can help identify issues with ring seal, excessive blow-by, vacuum-pump performance and crankcase ventilation. On engines using a vacuum pump, this sensor allows both vacuum and positive crankcase pressure to be recorded throughout a run.
The -14.7 to +14.7 PSI range provides excellent resolution around atmospheric pressure, making it particularly well suited to this type of monitoring. Lowdoller specifically lists crankcase pressure sensing with a vacuum pump as one of the sensor’s intended uses.
EFI & Data-Logger Compatibility
The sensor’s standard 0.5V to 4.5V output allows integration with compatible analogue inputs on most motorsport electronics systems. Lowdoller states the sensor is compatible with EFI and data-logging systems.
Typical installations may include:
- Haltech
- FuelTech
- Holley EFI
- Racepak
- Motec
- Link ECU
- ECU Master
- Other compatible EFI, dash and data-acquisition systems
The receiving system must be configured with the correct -14.7 PSI to +14.7 PSI calibration to provide accurate readings.
Important Installation Notes
The sensor uses a 1/8" NPT pressure connection and should be installed into a suitable pressure port, sensor manifold or remote-mounted line.
For crankcase monitoring, position the pressure pickup where it accurately represents crankcase conditions while protecting the sensor from excessive oil contamination and vibration.
Always configure the ECU or data logger with the correct sensor calibration before relying on recorded pressure data.
